This home was built without any over hang or soffit. Soffit is important
because it does several jobs, including allowing an avenue for fresh air intake to provide for proper attic
ventilation, protecting exterior walls and foundation from precipitation and providing a desirable architectural element
traditionally found only in more expensive homes. This home had developed foundation and ventilation issues as a result
of being "soffit-less". Our goal of eliminating or reducing these issues was achieved at the completion of
the installation of new framing, decking, fascia and vented vinyl soffit. This owner was very pleased with his new soffits,
not so much for the utilitarian aspect but rather for the great new look of the home. As a part of many of our exterior
projects, new dimensional shingles and seamless gutters were installed to blend the modifications.
