Exterior Spaces

Exterior living is very popular in Central Indiana for a large portion of the year. This project involved designing and building a large screened porch on a concrete slab with a southern exposure to capture more light and the sometimes elusive summer breeze. We were careful to maintain the gutter board height, large overhang and slope of the house roof to make our addition blend in with the original structure. In addition, we opened up the hearth area of the home with full view french doors to bring the outside in. For sun space, a flagstone patio was laid to compliment the fifty-year-old red brick exterior. To make the finished project completely seamless, we installed new dimensional shingles and six inch seamless gutters.

CREATING a Fun Outdoor Living Space:

This project involved turning a muddy, messy backyard into an outstanding outdoor living environment for our client, complete with a deck, patio, veranda and landscaping, by designing and implementing a comprehensive eco-friendly drainage system that met with the city of Carmel's strict guidelines.
